Sport and Recreation
The community is actively involved in sport. These being football, softball and basketball.
Education
Primary School: The community has a primary school which has attendance up to year seven. The school is bi-lingual.
High School: Some students who have completed primary school may attend Yirara College which is the only boarding school which caters predominantly for Aboriginal Students.
